Nandos Creative Exchange Programme Exhibition

The Nando’s Creative Exchange was established in 2011 to recognise emerging, Southern African fine artists who demonstrate exceptional ability. The programme offers select artists exhibition and mentorship opportunities, with art materials sponsorship and an opportunity to have work translated in a different medium in collaboration with the Spier Artisan Studios.

All of this is aimed at developing artists’ professional practice. Participants are nominated by Spier Arts Trust, who administers The Nando’s Creative Exchange as an artist career development opportunity. Once approved by Nando’s, participants are encouraged to create a comprehensive body of work for a group exhibition, available for sale to the public at a relevant venue.

An experienced mentor provides curatorial and professional presentation advice to artists while they are working towards the exhibition, to enable future independence in approaching galleries professionally and to plan successful art exhibitions.
